Good morning, everyone. My name is Christina Rehberg and I am the youth ministry associate here at Park Avenue. I just wanted to take a moment and say we’re so glad that you’re here! If this is your first time here, or if you want to learn more about our church, take a few moments during the service today to fill out the connection card in the seat back in front of you. At the end of the service, come to the Launchpad in the back of our sanctuary, and we’ve got a gift for you to say thanks for coming today.

BreakAway Student Ministries invites all of our incoming 7th- 12th graders to join us for our annual Mission:321 service week, July 15th through the 19th. Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to 4 pm, students will be transported to projects in our community to serve single mothers, widows, and other non profit organizations throughout North Brevard. On Friday, we will cool off and enjoy a day together at the Springs! This week-long event is $25 and includes a t-shirt and all lunches. This is a great opportunity for students to receive community service hours and give back to the community all while having fun. You can find more information on this event, and other youth events this summer on our social medias @breakaway_parkave OR You will need to register for this event at parkavenue.org/breakaway

Registration is now open for our 2024 Upward Basketball season. This fall league, running from September through November, is for 1st – 8th grade girls and boys. You can register early online at parkavenue.org/upward. Evaluations and Parent Orientation begin in early august. If you have any questions about any events coming up at Park Avenue, stop by the launchpad today.

Psalms 96:6-8 says
“Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering and come into His courts.”
The book of Psalms is full of verses about offerings and worship. This particular section of Psalms is announcing that the Lord of Israel reigns, and all creation is summoned to celebrate that. And in this specific verse we glorify the Lord and honor Him with our giving. We enter the Lord’s presence honoring the Lord with our gifts because we know who He is and what He is worthy of.
